The King's Visit
A month on from the incredible day when HM The King visited Sandringham 5k Your Way, we’ve been reflecting on the impact this has had on us as a charity: global news coverage, thousands of shares on social media, a 633% increase in visits to our website on that day and joy within our community. Awareness-raising is important for a small charity like ours. We are incredibly grateful for King Charles’s support and we’re thrilled that all this attention means we can share our message more widely about the benefits of movement for those living with and beyond cancer.

The Roaches Ramble - our annual MOVE Trek
Join us on Saturday 2nd May 2026 as we take on The Roaches Ramble for our annual charity trek. The Roaches is a dramatic, 505-meter-high gritstone ridge in the Staffordshire Peak District, offering beautiful panoramic views. Sign up for either an 18km or 30km route.
What better way to show how we are all #MovingMoreTogether than coming together as a community to walk and raise funds for MOVE.

Ampthill vs Cancer supporting MOVE Against Cancer
Ampthill vs Cancer is a volunteer-led, community-driven initiative founded by local people who have all been personally affected by cancer.
What began as a single fundraising event has grown into a movement that brings together Ampthill and the surrounding villages to raise money, awareness and support for people impacted by cancer, working alongside charities, hospices and support organisations across the region.
For 2026, the community were invited to vote for one of the charity partners, and they selected MOVE Against Cancer to join Keech Hospice Care, alongside the Ampthill vs Cancer Community Fund.

Online Programme Referrals
We wanted to let you know that our Young Person’s Online Cancer Rehabilitation Programme will be pausing new referrals until the New Year as we prepare to launch an exciting new referral and programme system.
Referrals will reopen in January 2026, and as usual, you’ll be able to refer via our website. Referrals typically open on the first of each month, but for January, they’ll open on the 5th to avoid you having to refer on New Year's Day if that isn't a working day for you.

Our Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) Survey Report is now available to read online! It shares the key findings from last year’s survey and opportunities ahead in our Action Plan, while also celebrating the work we're doing. We know there’s still many challenges to overcome, but we’re proud of what we've accomplished so far and want to take a moment to celebrate the amazing efforts of our volunteers and staff in making our services more equitable, diverse and inclusive. Thank you to everyone who took part in the survey!
